Wires - Covered in aluminum for electrical use
High mechanical resistance, good conductivity, excellent resistance against corrosion and compatibility with solid aluminum wires make the AS cables and wires a very attractive nucleus for ACSR (ACSR/AW) conductors.
When the AS are used as reinforcing agents, they combine their high mechanical resistance characteristics with those of better conductivity, thus improving the performance of the conductors.
