Strands - Covered with aluminum for ACSR/AS conductor centers

The high mechanical resistance, good conductivity, excellent resistance to corrosion, and compatibility with solid aluminum makes the AS wires and strands very attractive as a nucleus for ACSR (ACSR/AW) type conductors.

When the AS types are used as a strengthening element, they combine their high mechanical resistance characteristics with those of electrical conductivity, thus improving the behavior of conductors.

The AS wires and strands produced are available to all ACSR fabricators to be used as strengthening elements for their conductors.
